It is G.I. Hopley Ltd’s priority to provide the safest working environment for our staff, subcontractors, visitors to our sites and members of the public.
We ensure that all of our staff fully understand the part they play in maintaining our high safety standards, and the importance of Health and Safety is reinforced with a structured training regime and a rigorous site safety audit structure.
Annual safety training updates are provided for all team members, and changes in legislation or company policy are transmitted to all our employees at Site Inductions, Toolbox Talks and Safety Notices, enabling us to distribute detailed information and advice on best working practice throughout the company.
Our safety team is made up of The Contracts Manager and Contracts Supervisor carrying out regular site inspections and audits, safety training and accident investigations, as well as liaising with Local Authorities, the HSE and advising on risk assessments and method statements.
G.I. Hopley Ltd is committed to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and we are working towards all site operatives being card holders by January 2010.
